Celebrating the Birth of a Journey 30th Annual Noche de las Memorias
Noche De Las Memorias is commemorated on World AIDS Day each year honoring those lost to the AIDS epidemic and this year marks the 30th anniversary of The Wall Las Memorias. The World AIDS Day event is hosted at The Wall Las Memorias AIDS Monument and is free to the public. It is an evening of reflection, celebration, and healing as we bring nearly 1,000 supporters, community leaders, and advocates together for an evening of special programming and togetherness in commemoration of the national awareness day.
Event highlights include:
• A formal program with prayer, Aztec dancers, music, song and testimonials.
• A historical tribute marking three decades of leadership and work by TWLM.
• A special candle lighting ceremony unveiling new names added to the AIDS Monument of loved ones lost to the epidemic.
• An evening reception featuring music, food, and entertainment in reflection and celebration.
• Special appearances and participation by community leaders, celebrities, and partners as we
mark 30 years of service.
