Religious freedom means one can be in a religion or not in a religion. Forcing prep off the funding is by fact of deed imposing a religion upon the population. Which is in violation of religious freedom.
Ian Guy, Abortion bans were temporarily lifted in 1972, not the 50's. PrEP most definitely has something to do with religious beliefs, by attestation of the religious. Who are you to say it doesn't?
Texas. Why am I not surprised? The governor had done everything possible to take the state back to the mindset of the 1950s. No legal abortions. Peeling back gay rights is next on the agenda. PREP has nothing to do with religious freedom or beliefs. It's purely a health care matter to help save lives.
these church people are Bigots there belief should be kept to themselves everyone has the right to be here and if it wasnt why are animals gay or bisexual its not a crime to be who you are so dump the religion crap as an excuse
Freedom of religion means the freedom to be in a religion or to not be religious. Neither belief shall impose and or force it belief upon all others doing so is the very definition of oppression.

As a Ryan White Nurse Case Manager, I I've been exposed to patients living with HIV from all walks of life; from the most privileged, to the homeless and everyone in between.. To assume that the sole reason someone would need PrEP is to engage in promiscuous homosexual sex, is myopic, if not downright improvident. Clearly, opponents of the coverage have never met a married straight couple, one of whom was born with the virus.
