The conflation of street drugs and Rx drugs is inexcusable! People in chronic pain being denied the medication they need, surgeries are up, alcoholism is up, OTC pain medication use is up which can be directly linked to kidney and liver disease is up, pain-related suicide is up. While all this is going on, the government is equating deaths from street opioids with deaths from prescription opioids. Addicts switch to street drugs, those deaths are deemed the same.
