This article is a joke. Everyone knows increased physical activities can lead to weight loss. What would be helpful would be techniques to incorporate more movement into daily life along with dietary restrictions. Not easy when one is older and more sedentary by choice or physical limitations.
True. In April, I got serious about working out. Mostly cardiology at first. Over 7 months with exercise and nutritional food and moderate intake. Also, water only, I lost 39 lbs. Belly flat and off diabetic medication. A1c last time was 5.7.

Mirrors my experience: was 220ish, 36” waist, large belly, visceral fat, numbers moving in wrong direction. Started walking, added strength training, changed HIV meds, improved diet gradually and eventually majorly, now average 8 miles walked per day. Down to 170, 32” waist, labs normal, feel better than ever. Should it help motivate others, sex life is best it’s ever been - strength & stamina stronger than ever which contributes to my health as my get tons of cardio on top of reg exercise.
